The PADI Open Water Diver Course is the most popular entry level scuba certification that, once completed, allows you (aged 10+) to dive anywhere the underwater world takes you for life (up to 18 meters / 60 feet). The course consists of three parts: the Knowledge Development, the Confined Water portion, and 4 Open Water dives. The Knowledge Development covers the principles, concepts and terms you need to know to dive safely and enjoyably. We provide the knowledge development in the form of the PADI E-Learning as well as a review of equipment and dive theory before you get in the water! The Confined Water Dives allow you to learn and practice scuba skills in a safe, controlled area. You’ll enjoy practicing mini-dives, which take you through the same steps you will follow when you complete open water dives as a certified diver. To complete the training, you will apply and demonstrate what you learned during the required 4 Open Water Dives at some of the dive sites within the Cozumel Marine Park – YAY! All equipment necessary is included in the course.
